Question Mulitple problems...

Hey,
I have a 2000 F150 ext cab 5.4l v8.
First off, I am having major problem with the windows, the other posts come close, but dont answer my questions. The window will roll down fine most of the time, but when i go to roll it up (power windows) they go up pretty easily for half way, then most of the time need assistance if the car is not on, but like 2 inches from the top they continue up fine, once, when my window was frozen shut, i held the button down till it moved, and then the window worked perfectly for the rest of the day, but then it went back to doing it AGAIN! the passenger side is not starting to do it, and i have no clue why, could it just need replacement? its weird that it worked fine for those few hours.

Also, i have the stock theft system on my truck. The light will flash when not on, and when i start the truck up, it will come on and go off in like 5 seconds, perfectly normal. And when i lock it, it will sound the horn and flash the lights, yet i cannot get the alarm to go off, i'm afraid that when it gets broken into that it wont sound. I have put a great deal of money into the interior, and it is a big fear that i have. Any way to tell if something is wrong, or a way to test it that i could have forgot? i messed with the door locks, the defroster grill underneath the wipers, still no luck. any help would be appreciated.

the truck is a 4 door, and with my system, the back two doors have something rattling very badly, just wondering what this could be so i can look for it and fix when i take the doors of in a couple of weeks.

My engine also makes a rather irritating clicking noise when i accelerate. It is very noticeable when the truck is still cold, and seems to be louder when at lower rpms. it seems to happen more when its cold, but is still noticeable no matter the temperature or engine temp, could it be an exhaust leak? i could try to provide more information if anyone needs it.

anyone know what the correct height of the headlamps is? i replaced both bulbs, and i have a feeling that they are a little too high, i have started to get flashed recently for them.

the last one is my motorized retractable bed cover. the company has gone out of business, and i believe the motor is dying. The cover will retract very slowly for half way, and with help go about a quarter more, but will never go all the way in, i have cleaned the cover and the tracks, motors, everything. it works better when i wd40 the whole thing, but only for a couple of days. is there a way to buy a new motor or is there another fix?

i know the post is long, but if anyone who could spend the time reading it and replying, it would be greatly appreciated!

As far as the engine clicking noise I would say that is more than likely an exhaust leak. Look for carbon around the manifold on head, look on the flares where the manifold connects to the cats, and check all the other joints too. As far as the motor goes, I would bet you could find a shop that could put new brushes in the existing one. No clue about the windows though. Although, have you tried running the motorized cover with the engine running?

I'm probably going to be taking the truck in to a ford service shop at the end of march or beginning of april to check for the leak.

I only move the cover with the enigne on, because thats mostly when it will move without assistance! it worked great a couple of months back, but seems to have deteriorated to the point where its useless unless someone pushes on it when its going in.
