rotors 12mm or 14mm
I need to replace my rotors. I went to my local auot parts store and asked for a price. the sales man asked me if my rotors were 12mm or 14mm?? I told him I didn;t know. how would I find out if I have 12mm or 14mm?? any help would be great. 2000 Expy, EB, 2WD, 5.4

Ford switched from 12mm lugs to 14mm lugs mid 2000 model year. Easiest way to tell the difference is with two sockets. If a 3/4" socket fits the lugs, they are 12mm. If a 13/16 socket fits, you've got 14mm.

Hate to revive such an old thread, but there is too many unanswered threads.
So I have come to the conclusion that after July 1999, all Expeditions were installed with 14mm, not 12mm. I personally have a 2000. The question that I seem to have is on Rockauto, there is a "To 11/99" and "From 12/99". Does this pertain to what I said above? To 11/99 is 12mm and From 12/99 is 14mm?
