I was wondering if anyone knew if the console speaker boxes were any good?Console box If not, does anyone have any ideas on what kind of box I could use for either 2 10s or if possible 2 12's.
I'm using single boxes right now because of my middle seat/console sits back to far and Ive taken my seats out to see if I could move it fwd and to no avail, I cant.. Which brought me to the console idea.. Or, exactly how deep does a box have to be for a decent sound for 10-12s? Any Ideas would be great..
By the way, my truck is a single cab '95 F150
Thanks
Xain
i think on the f-150's with buckets you have to use 2 boxes. i have a bench seat with a 2.1 cube box with 2 kole mfw-12's. they take only around 1-1.2 cubes a piece and they are really thin - like 4" deep. check them out at www.koleaudio.com. i use these to compete and i seem to do pretty well. i would check these out.

JL audio makes and sub box for that you can check them out at JLaudio.com and MTX i think also makes one. but if you want my opinon i would say go with JL audio. you also might want to check out subbox.net and see what you can find. you can also put truck boxes behind you seats.
Thanks for the help. I went with a plastic molded box that was for an S-10 and 10" kickers.. Sounds great and fits nicely.. I replaced all of my factories with JL audio which sounds good as well.
Thanks again,
Xain
