Tow Capacity? Help!!
I have just purchased a used 1995 E-150 with the 5.8L engine. It did NOT come with the owners manual. The door tag says it has a code 19 axle which should be the 3:55 gears. The GVWR is 7,000 lbs. However, I can not find anything that will tell me what my tow capacity should be. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to tell us more info on your vehicle. 5.8litre, 3.55 rears , what transmission do you have? What does the van weigh on it`s own? What are the GAWR on the door sticker?

How do you determine which transmission you have? Also, on the door sticker the only value given was GVWR.
Anything else I need to provide? Let me know where to find it and I will post it. Can you tell anything from the VIN?
