Question

h.i.d. headlight conversion???

i just installed an hid conversion kit in my 2004 psd. the kit works great and i love it, but when you turn them on the radio shuts off for a second then comes back on. im assuming that this is because of the power needed to fire the bulbs when you turn them on. i was just wondering if this COULD maybe mess the computer up somehow?

It shouldnt do that. U wired something up wrong IMO. I got them in my heads and fogs and no problems.

they are just plug and play they have female headlight plugs on the ballast i just pluged in the headlight harness.

Does your volt meter drop bad when you turn the HIDs on too???

no the voltmeter doesn't drop it just seems to reset everything. im gonna try to run a relay system to run the lights direct off the battery.
