stalling
can anyone help me with my stalling problem. Occurs randomly.
Its a 1990 F-350 with a 460? (7.0 L) engine. When it happens while driving at speeds, the tach goes to zero for a moment, then the engine kicks back in, it happens so fast it never really turns off. At idle it just stalls.
After stalling in idle, we let it sit for five minutes, then it starts again. It does NOT have the dist. mounted TFI module.
I would also appreciate any suggestions on how to have it diagnosed.
When I have it fixed, I will be sure to post here what it was.

I had a similar problem with my 93, 4.9L. Ended up changing plugs, wires(twice), coil, module, distributor pickup, map sensor and it would stop after each time and then start up again.
Finally broke down and bought a code puller at WALLYWORLD! Pulled KOEO codes clear 11-111. KOER showed TPS and TPS Circuit bad. Cleared codes via puller and then disconnected battery for 1/2 hour.
KOEO.....clear
KOER......TPS and TPS Circuit.
Changed TPS, No more stumble, cut out or stalling.
