just a comment

I just replaced my stock shocks with ranchos RS9000's ,,,could they have made it ANY harder to get the rear shocks off or is it just me!

So far I like them...Still kinda of messing around with them. They do ride a little stiffer than the stock shocks.

on the softest setting they still seem a bit stiffer. but then again my old shocks were the orginals so kinda hard to compare i guess?

yeah, I noticed on your gallery that you have a 3" ProComp lift..ProComp is usually pretty stiff, just wondering if your comparing the PC shocks or the oe shocks from Ford...? Nice truck by the way..

Thanks, was comparing to the OE shocks from ford. I need to get some new pics up, Ive changed tires and rims since those.Running a little bigger tire now. Im pretty much done with the exterior now , going to move to the interior ,, my wife says if i keep spending money on it im going to be moving IN to the INterior

dangrimsley, nice truck. What size tires are in the pics and what size rims and tires did you move up to? I'm considering lift and tire size options at the moment. I'd like to see some updated photo's of your truck too.

hey ,,
The tires in the pics are bfg 285/70/r17 I changed over to bfg at t/a ko 315/75/r16s with american racing wheels series 6081 so far so good no problems! thanks
As soon as i get my camera back i will grab some new pics

Yeah the top nut is a bit of a pain to get at eh?
One thing that works quite well is to remove the bottom bolt and then push the bottom of the shock towards the back of the truck so the top nut is sticking straighter up. It makes it easier to get at.
