V-10 Horsepower?

Can anyone tell me when Ford raised the horsepower on the V-10? I think it was 2000, but not sure. Also, does 4000 RPM going uphill pulling a 10,000 lb. load anoy anyone but me??

2000 is correct. The only way to pull that load at a lower rpm is to use a diesel. You need horsepower and that is made at higher rpms. The Triton engines need to rev so hammer down and let her run.
