when im just cruising down the road and i put my left blinker on, the engine revs higher (about 400 rpms). it doesnt do it when i put the right blinker on though. and if it is under a load, it wont do it either. just when im cruisin.
I guess I'll post a little more about that comment. I've heard of guys replacing their turn signal switch and screwing up their trannies. Turned out they had to get one from Ford, the aftermarket one had something wrong with it. I guess the first thing to check would be all the lights.

all the lights seem to be working fine because i just got back from playing softball and they all seemed to be working from what i could see. both left blinkers work and right. dont have a light on my license in back cause my kids break it all the time.
Someone more in tune with these trannies will have to jump in, I'm more involved with the engines. It has to do with the brake lights, they go thru the signal switch. Might be worth having someone go back and see what they are doing while you play with the switch.
10 - 4 , i will try that tomorrow , the ol lady wont go outside tonite, "its too cold" , weeny, its only 56. oh yeah, i going to put a 3 inch downpipe on the truck this week. hope its worth the money.
