Where is the factory wiring harness located on a 93 f-250 I have a 4 pin connector and i need to put a 7 pin so i can put electric brakes so all the help i can get would be great.
If your 250 has a towing package it should have been equiped with a 7 pin connector from the factory. This would be located on the frame rail, drivers side at the rear.
Under the dash (generally in the center) you should have a connector with four pins, this is for the brake controller. You can get the mating connector for this at most travel trailer suppliers or a Ford dealer which, connects directly to your brake controller and plugs into your trucks harness.
If you do not have a towing package, you may have to add all of this wiring.
