460 swap's

i currently have a 78 f250 supercab. it has a 400 .60 over . i want ot pull it out and put a 460 in it.
also i jsut bought a 77 supercab that had a 460, for 200.00. the whole body has been restored, but they kept the 460 for a maverick. i was wonderign what ill need to put the 460 in mine and what parts ill need for the new one. i have 2 460s , 1 outta a 72 lincoln that has been bored .60 over and another 460 outta a 74 town and country wagon thats .60 over. what all am i goign to have to change to put these in the truck? example is the power steerign brackets all the same. all the help i can get is appreciated. these are my first ford projects. usually i just build gmcs or chevys.

Somebody likes living on the edge @ .060 over. Most Ford blocks don't like more than .040 over.

How many rebuilds is a .60 over. I think it's two. If they run good and have low mileage from the last rebuild I say go with them, unless you're concerned about gas mileage and summer prices. I highly recommend L & L. If you do any search on a 460 swap you are bound to come up with landlproductsdotcom. Good luck and send me a pm if you have any questions. I did a 460 from I6 swap with a C6.

get some truck exhaust manifolds because car ons are kicked out. The L&L mounts from www.broncograveyard.com are nice ( got mine from there) also you will need a new powersteering pump bracket you could make one or get an L&L one when you buy motor mounts. My truck has a custom powersteering pump bracket (home made) if you have some fabricating skills and the tools to do it you could fab one up in under an hour out of some plate
