I brought my EB in to Ford yesterday (12K miles on it) for a humming sound I was getting when hitting 40 mph but would disappear after 45 mph and also a vibrating feel in the brake pedal and the steering wheel after driving for some time. I brought to the service guy's attention the quiet "recall" regarding the front axles and the S-spring replacement. I thought for sure that was the problem, yk? I was so surprised when he called me back and told me there were loose parts in my rear end that were causing the hum(?) Does this make sense to you?
I don't know exactly what the parts were and what was being ordered but they told me they'd have the truck back to me today. I haven't heard from them, which annoys me since someone could have called me with an update at least. My husband will be calling tomorrow since I don't get anywhere with them
