Question Idle Problem

Just bought a 1993 F150 (302) last month and finished rebuilding the engine this weekend. Feels like new now, but there is an idle problem when using the heating/cooling system. The engine idles smooth at about 850, but when I turn on the normal A/C, Max A/C, Defrost or Mix the engine alternates quickly between 500 - 850 rpms. It does not happen when I turn on the vent or floor blower. Tested the battery and alternator w/ a multimeter and both are working fine. I also am getting an engine code for a bad oxygen sensor, but I don't think it is related. I replaced the sensor and tested the whole EGR system and no problem. Kinda stumped right now and just need a few ideas on what to check to fix the idle problem. Thanks

IAC valve. When I did my 460 for some reason it just decided to act up. Can probably just remove and clean it and ait will be fine.

doccamel, thanks for the advice. That would of been one of the last things I checked, after spending my paycheck at auto zone to try and fix it. I pulled it off this afternoon and cleaned it out and works like magic (for now).
