i need help from the experts

ive had a 67 ford f-250 3/4 ton for a 4 years (first time on this site) and ive started my work on it.

Bodywork & paint is done (94 ford metallic blue)
new tires (super swampers)
new floorboards
rebuilt 390 bored to a 402 with a 2v carb

I think it's time for me to start adding the horsepower and modernize my truck.

if i could get some suggestions from the people here who have already fixed up their trucks it may help ...

I know im interested in:
power steering & power brakes
new intake manifold and carb
Suspension lift

Those were the MAIN TOPICS but im going to only focus on the motor work to start

ive saved about 2000 and i want to get a little more out of my truck.

i mean 2bb carb im a little slow sometimes

Welcome To FTE

I changed it from 2bbl to 2v which is the same thing.
2v = 2 venturi's

If the discussion is only going to be about the engine,then the question should be in the 390 FE forum

all depends on gear ratio,transmission auto or man ,tire size, cam lift and duration, the 2 bbl will give low end torque, it also will depend on how much rpm you will want to achive on the motor, I have built 400m and 390/428 for trucks and cars to race in mud and on race track let me know what you are looking to do with it.
