Stupid Work Box

I bought a delta work box a couple months ago and because I use my truck for work I managed to chip the powder coat and now it is falling off. I was wondering, would it work to spray the thing with black undercoating in a rattle can? Would this stick and protect it or would it fall off?

It will probalby work, as long as you prep the surface (sand and clean). How about using that bedliner coating? It would probably last longer.

Good question. I don't know. I do know some rattle can stuff never truely hardens up. It stays sticky. Probably not something you want on a toolbox.

I just used the Dupli-color truck bed coating in the spray can to line the inside of my tool box (to keep the rattling of tools down). I worked just fine, but for the outside you would need a couple of coats because it goes on pretty thin.
