4.6 motor swap
In the very near future I will be faced with the task of replacing my 4.6 (182k+) as the #5 cylinder has a compression of 20 psi, and she runs pretty rough. I see quite a few for sale on ebay, however they are out of mustangs, crown vics, etc.. Will they work? If so, what mods are needed? I am also concidering a 5.4, what is needed for that switch? Thanks

You need to make sure that if you have a Windsor 4.6 that you replace it with a Windsor. If it is a Romeo, replace it with a Romeo.
The 5.4 will require different electronics, the exhaust will have to be altered due the the block being taller and wider.
