need some help

well i now have an 82 4x4 and a 78 4x4 both f-150's and i just recently came accross a 78 f-100 2wd in very decent condition for very little money. this is my problem i was originaly going to buy the f-100 for parts for the 78 f-150, but now i am thinking about buying the 2wd and leaving the 78 4wd how it is and just go straight mud truck with it and turning the f-100 into a ground pounding hotrod. of course this is all providing i sell the 82 4x4. i am stuck especially since i found out the 2wd is a running and driveable truck. this sucks i hate having an obsession for trucks. any advice is wecolme. from going for the 2wd or saying **** on it and that i dont need it. my friends arent helping any because they are just hyping me up about it. but on the other hand they arent the ones with another truck in their yard. and yet another unfinished project. but iam needing some advice true ford lovers. so thanks in advance for any help or comments.

Myself, if the price is good enough, and if you don't have to worry about neighbors or ordinances, I'd jump on it, because what the hell, more projects mean more fun, right? If you don't really have an issue with having another truck around, and you want a pretty truck for showing off with, that's how I would go. I'm not sure, but if you won't drive it enough, you may be able to get away with classic or antique plates, would be lower cost, but are restricted by distance and miles per year. (I'm not sure about this part, new to MO laws and registrations)
