Help! Power Loss!
I have a '93 Bronco XLT with a 5.0 liter 302 engine. My problem is that at times when the temperature and humidity is up outdoors or whenever the engine gets hot I start losing power. Maintaining higher speeds is no problem until I go up a hill. Starting from a stop is a huge problem. It will skip and surge on me. It takes it a bit to get going. It has over 150,000 miles on it. I recently had the CATs and exhaust system redone, so it rules out that. I've had the codes pulled but nothing shows up. Anyone have any idea what it might be before I take it back to a mechanic to have it looked at in great detail? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
