Bolt Pattern

I have a 1983 F-100 3.8L V6, ShortBed 2wd, power brakes, AC.....need to know what the lugnut pattern is so I can order some rims.....any help appreciated.

All 1/2 ton fords use the 5x5.5" lug pattern.

Check your order. Weld's web page shows '80 - '85 F100 2WD w/power brakes have a 5X4.5" lug pattern.

hmm, 5x4.5" is the ford ranger and car lug pattern, maybe someyone should tell them about that.

It's been mentioned here on the board (dunno if it's true) that SOME of the F-100s used the 5"X4.5" bolt pattern. Just a thought.

Yes there is a small bolt pattern on a few early 80's F-100s. I heard that there was a small pattern a few years ago, but I didn't believe it. I had only seen 5.5in bolt patterns until my cousin had bought two F-100's in the last year that have had the small pattern. I think that rangers have the same bolt pattern, and maybe also older dodge trucks. Hope this helps.
