Lightbulb Hi Perf

I've got a '90 F-150 with a 5.0 and i was curious as to some engine mods i could do. Something hi performance and somewhat inexpensive b/c of a tight budget. Ive just finished the exhaust and looking for something more to do to it.....any suggestions?

Whats the budget?

Did you add headers?

Electric fans are a nice addition.

Well for a couple of hundred, those two things are about all I know, as far as, bolt ons that actually make a difference with efi motors. You might consider finding a higher stall converter as well. Good luck

I've got headers and electric fans on my truck and both are very worthwhile mods. Other mods to consider are advancing the timing a few degrees, some type of air intake (K&N or homemade), underdrive pullies - some people will say don't use them but I've had mine for over a year now and do alot of towing and have had zero problems with them.
