5 speed transmission

I have heard rumors of a 5 speed tranny that will fit my 78 f-150 4x4.
Anyone know anything about this?

well if you have a 351m or 400 a zf tranny will bolt up to the motor but the crossmember wont work if i remember correctly you have to build your own basically

Any 5 speed transmission that will bolt up to a 460 will bolt up to a 351M/400. There would doubtless be some other modifications (crossmember. etc.) that you would need to make.
