4" exhaust
What kind of hp gains can one expect just from adding a 4" turbo back exhaust? I see here on this site there seems to be a good deal on a 1705 tuner and exhaust package. I already wanted the tuner but this looks like the way to go. Any ideas?? I know it would help with egt's anyway..

You'd probably pick up a few hp, but that isn't the real reason to get an exhaust anyway. It would enhance the other power mods you do, and keep the temps down, so you can enjoy them longer without backing out of the throttle.

Stealth, I added the Superchips programmer and then the 4" {3" downpipe} several months later. What a BIG difference. The programmer alone made a little more of a power gain than the exhaust did but that may just be a case of "which one I did first". I'll soon add the Tymar intake/filter set up as suggested here on this forum {thanks Quadzilla} to complete my performance mods. I did a lot of research and reading and have concluded that these mods are the most cost effiecent and have the most "common sense" behind them. As an old hot-rodder/drag racer I know that air in-air out is how you boost performance on ANY engine. I also know that factory settings on almost all computer controlled vehicles, PSDs included, are well below safe operating ranges and once out of warranty, it's fairly safe to upgrade them. I'm not looking to one-up anyone or set any land speed records with my PSD but I always like to safely maximize all my vehicles performance capabilities. I bought my PSD to pull the racer, not be the racer!
