My key was "bumped" while the motor didn't start but was still turning over..(not by me_I know how to start my truck) WAS damage done? it still cranks over just fine. I put a remained flywheel in about 1 month ago I don't want it damaged? Is it?
Thanks,
Dustin
PS It's on my 78w/300I6
I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Why did you replace the solinoid, starter and battery? The new battery is dead, or the old one?
And what did you mean by this:
"My key was "bumped" while the motor didn't start but was still turning over..(not by me_I know how to start my truck) WAS damage done? it still cranks over just fine."
Dust,
If your truck is turning over fine, your flywheel is probably just fine.
Secondly, if your battery continues to go dead, the only thing left to change is the voltage regulator, which was probably the only thing wrong with it the whole time.

Also look for current draw when key is off using an ammeter.
(If you have an alarm or clock or clock radio or anything that draws power with key off, take this into account.)
