abs brakes?
I have a 1990 F-150 302. It runs real good but it has never had awsome brakes. I Changed all the pads and calipers and brake cylinders and have bled the sytem about three times. The end result was decent brakes but never great. Then the other day I was braking from 55mph and the whole truck starting shaking horrible. I thought a pad had slipped and was jambed in between the wheel but everything was fine. Now every time I brake hard the pedal pressure gets hard and soft real quick and the rear feels like is is going to lock up and tear something apart. The abs and brake light came on so I stopped and checked all the fluid and four corners and nothing looked out of wack. I bled the system and the lights went out but it still goes from soft to hard real quick on hard stops and otherwise is a super mussy pedal on normal stops. Can anyone give me some help!! Thanks
