No it's just snake oil. All it does is tricks the computer into thinking the air charge coming through the intake is cooler richening up the fuel/air mixture. You might gain a few horsepower at best but in the mean time causing carbon fouled plugs , a carboned up o2 sensor, clogged up cats and carbon buildup in your engine. I wouldn't do it.

The 2004 F150s are not chippable. They use the newer p-tech computers that do not have a service port for a chip. Both Superchips and Diablo Sport are working on programmers for it.
