help

i own a 1989 E350 ambulance with dual a/c systems..does anyone know where the low side port for the a/c is located???

help

Always service from the low pressure side. I do recommend that you find a good shop to service this though. I did this type of work 20 years ago, and it really is better to let the pro's do it, unless you do that type of work. There should be both low and high side on the compressor.

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 06-Jul-01 AT 08:58 PM (EST)[/font][p]When the hood is open reach up under the cowl near the center of the engine compartment and you will feel a large A/C line,it runs along the opening, that is where the low side port is it is usually lined up center of the wiper arms,or you can trace the suction line back from the compressor,the line has a "T" in for the port
