transmission lock out
my 1996 ford 250 with 7.3 turbo diesel and four speed automatic is not locking out when I push the button. This is creating a problem pulling my trailer. The off light comes on in park but goes off when put into drive.It worked one day and after sitting in the hot sun it wasn't working the next day. Would appreciate any ideas on this problem, funds are low and need to try to fix myself if at all possible.
