intake air temperature sensor

i have a '87 f-150. probably a stupid question but can anyone tell me were the intake air temperature sensor is. can't seem to locate.

forgot to mention it's a 5.0L efi

should be right around the air filter sticking in the side of the filter box

Then it is screwed into the (drivers side) lower intake just behind the distributer between the front two injecters. You need to unplug it and then find a socket to fit it. I don't recall what size. It is a fairly easy to change. Just don't overtighten the new part as the intake is aluminum. Also the replacement part I got was plastic -vs- metal. Good luck.
