i just got a `69 f150 short box 2wd. it was my wifes dads and it only has 42,000 miles on it.air,ps,pb,at,and 302.the truck was was stored under a cover inside for 16 years,he was saving it for the granson.
well when he(my stepson) got the truck he drove it for about a 3 or 4 weeks and one day it would turn over.well he put on a new starter, selnoid, flywheel.well to keep it short i made a trade and got the truck.
now i`m not sure where to start to fix the problem.
you hit the key and you hear it try to turn over and it just can`t.
and i`m sure it has to do with the time that it sit.it was only started once in a blue moon before it came out of storage.
before we put it on the road, drained the gas, rebuilt the carb, new fuel pump, master cyl.,new wheel seals.the truck looks almost new.i could show it and do well in the stock class.
but first i got to get it running.
any ideas?
