Angry battery problems

Today i retired my third battery out of my truck in about four months. The guy at advance auto said to have the charging system checked out which by then i already knew that. each of the three batteries has started the truck one day, and a couple weeks later wouldnt hold any charge. any suggestions on where i could look for the problem? im gonna have the alternator tested asap.

Voltage regulator can stick. It will charge fine, but run the battery down when not running.
It could also be overcharging burning up the batteries.

Here's what you do.
After having your charging system checked.

Find a bunch of threads on FTE about Batteries being Bad from Brand New.
Print them up and show them to the parts guys.

Let him know there are thousands of people experiencing Batteries that are built of poor quality and they can short out within themselves.
