cracked joints

cracked joints

I just performed my usual oil change and when I was lubing the joints I noticed some grease coming out of one of the joints on the right swing arm. Upon closer inspection I saw that there was a small crack in the rubber. Is this somethink I need replaced or is it ok that some of the grease came out?

You should replace it, but its no emergency. I have grease fittings that leak bad, been there long time. Just needs greased more often. You loose grease, and gain dirt.

I think it depends if it's really a crack or more of a "weep hole". In my experience, many of the rubber seals have an exit spot for excess grease. I usually grease until just a little comes out.
