95 computer chip

Can anyone tell me if a performance chip for a 96 F150 5.0l might work in my 95 F150 5.0l. I know that they changed the computer but don't know if the way the chip works would change. It is from Jet Performance.

1995 F150 4x4
5.0 automatic

I doubt that it would work. '96 is EEC-V, and '95 is EEC-IV, and they are significantly different.

Probably not. The computer is what the chip modifys. The chip was designed for a specific computer and program settings
