Class V drop hitch
I put a class V hitch on my escape it was about $250.00 I see alot of people put class II hitches on there escapes I know my hitch is over kill the escape will never pull the max amount of weight the hitch says I just did not like the factory 1" hitch that comes on some escapes to small looks wimmpy. Anyone else

i am going to put a hitch on my escape and i too think the factory hitch looks like it's max load would not pull a fly off a bears butt.
Am only planning to tow the small u-haul trailer for now so was only looking at a class 1. Any one have any figures on what weight the escape can draw without the need for a tranny cooler??
