Does anybody know when we might see these? I ordered a sd on 5/24 and was told a week later that a vin # was assinged and that it would be built as a 2002 instead of the 2001 I ordered. Dealer said he would keep his deal with me. 500 dollars over invioice and I thought that was great. I found a release of what small changes they (ford) where doing to the 2002 over the 01. After a week of seeing this the site took the release off and I am waiting to see what kind of increase there will be in the prices.
LAST EDITED ON 11-Jul-01 AT 11:23 AM (EST)[p]Your welcome, always glad to help. A ford dealer stated that the price only goes up a lot (usually 1% to 3% each year depending on changes) if there are major body and other changes, I guess for once a dealer was right. So if you see the price go up a lot then expect major changes to engine, frame, or body styling. So long for now... the great OZ has spoken
My dealer gave me a copy of the price sheet today for the 2002 F350 that I have on order. The price for everything was as listed above. No surprises except for $325 for something called "FDA?(cant make it out) ASSESSMENT". Asked my salesman about it. He wasn't sure, said something about it being part of shipping & handling.
If anyone would let me know if there are any new options offered on the F-250 supercab 4x4 this year I would appreciate it. Like I said before, I'm in the Air Force over here in Germany so its hard to find info on the 2002's.

Does anyone know what this is?
I ordered a 2002 yesterday with the X-plan. The option on my
sheet is call "FDAF Assessment". I asked the salesman about
it and he said that it was the "advertising" fee. This is
supposedly the money that Ford uses to provide the "friendly
neighborhood Ford dealers" commercials you see on TV, etc.
