chevy question, don't be mad
My mom's car has been having trouble with the head lights lately, it is a 1994 Cavalier, it seems like the driver side dim has been burning out every other week, what could cause this and how can I fix it, sorry about posting a chevy question in a ford truck site, but this is the only forum place I know of.

have a close look at the socket it might be corroded and cause extra heat. make sure the wires are good too. is the lense leaking i've seen some that get water in them and it screws up the bulbs. good luck

Are you cleaning the new bulbs with something like alcohol or laquer thinner and a very clean rag and then making sure you do not touch it during installation? You always want to clean them prior to installation.
