hey FUELINJECTOR,
I actually just posted in the Appearance Section about doing the same thing with my bumpers. I had a question about removing the black plastic on the rear. Do you have any input?
rjcarp2,
on the plastic back piece all they did was tape it off and put newspapers around it to not get overspray on it.....it looks a lot better than what u would think it would look like, well...at least better than what i thought it woul look like

A lot of luxury cars like the Continental, Town Car, Caprice, RWD Caddy's etc have either a full air suspension (Continental) or a rear air suspensions, so if you find one of those cars in the junkyard, take the underhood compressor and the small tank attached to it.
The Continental unit is good enough for a 3 second blast before the horn starts to sound anemic.
Bought one a month ago for $25, complete, with a long snip of the wiring harness to splice it in.
we have a GMC Top Kick at my place of work, it has an on demand compressor for the air horns it has and there right off a mack truck, not sure where they got it, but it looks like a mini shop air compressot its about 3 inches wide 4 inches tall and 6 inches long.
nastruk, lookin at yur gallery the first thing u need to do is clean yur truck...lol those are some bad pics though... actually what i did to my mirrors is painted them with flat black paint and then i put tire shine on the(armorall works the same) but you'll have to put a couple coats of armorall on b/c u can't really tell but in that pic my mirors look like crap too... i just put more on after it dried in or whatewvwer it does and it eventually looked better.
