redyeing Interior panels

Going to redye/repaint all my Interior Panels in a couple of weeks. Is there anything special that I need to know?

such as..... What to clean them with brfore spraying. (Especially what not to use, and so forth).

Wouldn't want to use anything that might melt the panels.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Frank...

John,

Thanks for the recomendation.

I am going to use Vinyl & Fabric Color by Dupli-Color.

Going to attempt to redye carpet also. Actually going to change colors from blue to gray on all the fabric, including the headliner.

The gray that I am going to use, unless I change my mind again, is...

Dupli-Color VS-11 Charcoal Gray. It is very close to black, but, you can still see the gray highlight.

As far as the seat covers go.... no, I don't know of any. I will have to go down that road as well.

Don't mean too hyjack any threads, but I plan too change my interior from the dark brown too either red or blue, not sure right now, what would you guy reccomend me do too prevent the brown from bleeding through, and making the new color looking like it was from the factory.

roadkill,

I don't know if anyone puts out a product for that purpose. I went ahead and redyed mine. Had to pull a couple of pieces out of another bronco which were black. Went ahead and sprayed them with the blue that I am using. Took about three coats to cover, but there is little difference between recoating the original blue and the black, about 1/2 a shade.
