I just got a 2003 ford F150 four door, 4wd, Is it possible to lower the truck and if how low and does anyone know where i can get some info on this, Thanks..
It seems that most of us in here dont have much experience with lowering trucks but if you do a search here I think you'll find some info. Hit the search button at the top of the page and see what you can find.
How low are you hoping to go?
Do you really need the 4X4 or have you though about trading it for a 4X2 which would be much easier to lower?
Good to have you, I' am not sure if there is a lowering kit for 4x4 fords yet? I know that lowering the f-150 is easy. My advise is to buy a kit. Much easier and safer than trying to fabricate something to meet your needs. I would look into maybe doing something else appearance wise to make it look lower. for instance the tubular step bars that are straight chrome with no steps. They look good and make it look lower, but as far as kits I don't know.
Ok Thanks Guys, about trading for a 4x2 i cant find a super crew in that if I did i would most definatly got one, but condisering they dont i needed the next best thing. But anyways i went to a local shop today and they said they can drop it depending on how low starting at 4000, they said taking something out in the front end to make it a 4x2 than just using a 4x2 lowering kit. Hope this is poss, and how does the price sound??
