My 1999 F350 has 30,000 miles on it. It has always had a small leak around the windshield, at the middle of the dashboard. It hasn't been a big problem because it only leaks when I am driving over 50 mph and its raining.
When I took it to a dealership they did not attempt to fix it because "they could not reproduce the problem." I called Ford directly - they agreed with the dealer. I am concerned because I can hear water running somewhere behind the dash. Any Suggestions?????
P.S. I am also trying to figure out why Ford will not replace the steering wheel cover that wore out after only 5,000 miles. I guess the bumper to bumper warranty doesn't cover anything that is higher than the bumpers
Tell the idiots to use a pressure washer, thats about the best way to reproduce that problem with the windshield. Takes rocket scientists at the dealerships to figure that simple ways to diagnose things.
