sending unit voltage?

I will be putting a 460 in my 67' but also will be using the altenator which will be for a 12V system. So, the 67' are a 6V system so how/what to do for the 6V stuff like the sending unit etc?

The Instrument cluster Voltage regulator runs the Oil,Temp,& Fuel gauges at the correct voltage > 5.0 Pulsing Volts.
All you have to do is make this ICVR puts out the correct voltage

I will be getting a new haneline dash panel with new gauges so your saying that since those will be 12V, I wouldnt have any problem?
or would the new gauges use the same regulator and I need to replace that?

Are you talking about Aftermarket gauges and instrument cluster?

I was talking about the Ford Orginal Gauges sensing system.

Then I would assume you will need the sending units that are campatible with those gauges.
