anybody know???
what the wire is for that runs down the rear of the passengers' side front wheel well? It has a strange looking connectoe on the end of it. It is clipped to the well from the factory so it is supposed to be there......just noticed it the other day. Any ideas?

Sounds like the hot line for the trailer plug. On most trucks, 94-97 anyway, there is a seperate set of relays mounted to the back of the power distribution box and they supply power to the trailer through this conector. Mine doesn't have the relays but the previous owner ran a wire from the battery to this wire and that supplies the constant 12v to the trailer.
