I would like to know the max tire size for the front end on a stock 70 F100 2wd. I'm going to be buy new wheels and tires shortly and would like to know what I can stuff under the front end and not rub. Going to put the same size all around. I've done all the searches that I can think of but am unable to find much on a 2wd. Cutting the fenders is not an option. Tire/wheel/offset combinations would be great. Thanks

i got 275/60's on 10" wheels

You can go to the major tire manufacturer websites and get the required rim size for specific tire sizes. Check the revolutions per mile that some of them list so that you can keep your speedo correct or make corrections to it.

I went with 265/60 on 8 inch wheels. Also updated gallery with pics of bedliner and bed rail caps. Check it out. Thanks for the info.

i have 31x10.50x15 on the front and it only rubs when you turn the wheel all the way.

Do you want max width or height? Your wheel offset makes a difference as well.

I'd consider the 275/60r15 and the 31x10.5r15 good guidlines from my experience.
