hey whats up guys tonight was the first i realy tried to get my truck running and all i did was put a lil bit of fuel down in the carb hit the key and she fired up good old ford for ya but for the master cylinder on the clutch wat does it look like and wat does the slave cylinder look like is there any website or anything i could go to and see like a diagram cause i havnt had a chance to get a book yet
all thats on the fire wall for the clutch is a white lil container to hold the fluid... then theres one line that runs from it that is cut... then theres another line that runs to the tranny everything other then that seems to be in tact
The clutch system consists of a master cylinder attached to the clutch pedal. Most of it is behind the dash. There is a fluid reservoir with a line that goes to the master cylinder. There is also a slave cylinder that is connected to the master clylinder with a fluid line. The line runs from the m/c to the side of the transmission where it connects to the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder is located inside the transmission bellhousing. You need to get a shop manual as soon as possible.
