'99 250 SD Axle Code??

Hello to all,
Just bought a '99 250 with the salesman not knowing anything about specs on the truck. The only option on the truck I haven't been able to figure out is the axle. The door says code 31. I read that a code 32 was 4.10 limited slip. Anyone have info??

There should be a tag on the rear diff cover that will tell you what you have.
