2000 Diesel Fuel? issue
Our local Horse Dr. Has a '00 F250 Diesel. Last night I was helping her with it and am clueless about diesels. The truck will start and idle and after about 1-2 minutes, just cuts off and wont start again unless it sits for 5-10 mins. Seems like a fuel pump or filter, but cant be sure. The fuel reset button is in locked down position which should be right. Truck has 95k. Any thoughts?

FIRST ... dont mess with the vet, she uses big needles and knows how to kick. Second, its sounding like the cpsis acting up or there is a need for a fuel filter change and clean the little screen in there. There is my 2 cents. End of transmission

Sounds like the cam position sensor (CPS) if you buy one try to get it from International, a whole lot cheaper than Ford. Is it throwing the service engine soon light? If it is it might pay to have it scanned. JMO
