Allright, I took the entire rear end apart to put in my new mini spool only to find out that I couldn't open the carrier. An open carrier should have a large hole in the side basically right? Mine was completely sealed and I saw no sign of a place to open it. Now I see some little gears in there so there has to be a way to open it right? If there is can I put the mini-spool in? Or if it is a track lock is there a way to fix it, because it no longer locks?
Thanks

I psoted some info on your other post and what you describe does not mean you have a T-Loc. Any 9 inch rear carrier will be the same as far as what you have desribed.
The ring gear has to be removed in order to get inside and install the spool or if you do have a T-Loc once inside you can replace the worn clutches.
The cover on the carrier that the ring gear bolt heads sit on will have counter bores for the bolt heads if it's a true Trac-Loc.
