E150 seat

I'm 6'9" tall and love my 2004 e150 but my back hates it.I had the seat moved back 6". Any suggestions?

What type of seat is it? Low back bucket, High back bucket, captain;s chair? You might want to look into some high quality capt's chairs.

It's a highback bucket seat with armrest. It almost feels like it's too narrow.I also feel like I'm not centred to the steering wheel.I'm wondering also if a power seat might help.How feasible would that be?

Seriously, have you tried a removable lumbar support?

Ford vans have been notorious for having an offset drivers seat. I've been told that it had something to do with the twin I beam front ends and where the seat riser bolts through the floor. You could drill new holes for the riser and set the seat back as far as you can manage. Then just run the original bolts down with someone under the van torquing down nuts and flat washers.
