Oil sending Switch
I want to change the oil sending switch on a 1997 F150 with a
V 6 /4.2 and have gotten the switch from ford, part #SW-2220 and it doesn't look like the one thats there.Unless the one I am looking at is not the oil sending switch.The one I am looking at is just above the oil filter off to the right side.Need to know if this is correct.

http://www.motorcraft.com/ shows that as being the right switch.
It sounds like what you're looking at is the right thing. Maybe it has been changed up? I'm not sure as I haven't replaced one of those in a long time on a 4.2 .
