Dual Exhaust
So I had a little time on my hands today, stopped by our favorite exhaust shop to get a price on some duals.
Nothing major, just cat back, muffler single in, double out, with tails. Guy tells me $450bucks??
Now this is a guy we send tons of work to, we even sponsor his less than crapy race car and he tells me $450???
Seems a tad high to me, what have you guys paid to have it done???

Ya I was figuring around $250ish and I told him I would even supply the flomaster, so I don't know where he came up with the price.
I guess I'll have to find a new exhaust guy.....

I realise I have a Gasser, but my duals with a Vortex muffler and nice tips cost $325, Cat Back.......

Go to J C Whitney got all you need. I have a Cat-Back on my 2003 F-350. Only cost me $240.00 and its all 3" pipe (Heart Throb).

I got the single in (stock) with 40 FLows, Dual 2 1/2" out with 3" echo tips. This costed about $240.00. I don't like the sound. I will do it myself soon with true duals and add a crossover tuner. Where I will place the tuner will depend on where it sounds best. I may have to move it several times.

Jeez my guy said he couldn't touch the y pipe due to emisions.
I think I got one other place besides Munroe to check into, if they can't give me a reasonable price, I may just bolt a store bought kit on....
