V10 Engine Noise
First off- thanks to all of you for your postings. You helped me confirm that the exhaust noise that I was experiencing was not a figment of my imagination. I brought this up to my dealer after I purchased this truck in May and of course they said "that's just the way the V-10 sounds". Armed with the information posted by leftlane on May 21, I confronted the service manager at my dealer regarding the TSB for the y-pipe replacement. He jokingly said something about "all you guys on the internet are making my life difficult"- but I think the real issue is that this will only be repaired if you complain and know about the TSB.
The parts are on order and should be installed next week.
